I love green aventurine. Something about it feels grounded and peaceful – and so that is how I feel when I wear it and fiddle with it throughout the days. These larger than large highly polished gemstones make perfect touchstones. You know me and my touchstone thinking? While the image here is enlarged to show all the detail (and there you go – another little bit of my personality that hates when I can’t see the thing I want to buy online!) the six-sided stones measure about one inch across and they are not flat, giving substance to the bracelet. The softest of green prehnite faceted and polished nuggets look fabulous in combo with the green aventurine. Bring big green ringed baroque freshwater pearls to the mix and you have a look that is soft, pretty and bold. Very interesting Czech glass givre rondelles in dark green have a tiger eye effect and are the perfect go-with for the real gemstones and pearls. Three strands come together with a 18mm heavy weight sterling silver hook and eye clasp. Measures 17” in length with a 2” extender.

I just love the neutral greens – look around in nature and you’ll immediately notice that green goes with everything. You know me – give me a necklace and I’ll find a way to layer it with stuff from my existing collection. To me that’s the fun of it all – whatever the whim I can make a look for it. What fun, no?
