A Big Thanks to Kate’s Kids 4 the CURE
Time moves on and the 8-year girl who started the nonprofit in 2002 is now 17 and will soon be off to school along with all the other "kids" who were involved. Over the years, united by a shared vision, the members of KK4C raised more than $80,000 for local cancer research and various projects. Fueled by an abundance of youthful energy and determination, this non-profit, student-led organization, was built on the belief that working together with the help of people like you and by supporting local research facilities, they could and would make a difference in the fight to find a cure! There is no doubt in my mind, that all the kids involved over the years with KK4C will be leaders of tomorrow and I strongly believe that their dedication and efforts will stand as a model for kids around the world who want to make a difference.
